Discord Authentication Guide

EvE-Scout Enclave, our Discord server, is the main communication platform used by Signal Cartel.

Our server is found at this link: https://discord.gg/fKy3FeZ

After being in Signal Cartel for at least 24 hours, new members (like you!) will be able to gain access to the members-only section of our Discord server. However, you must be authorized first. This authentication process is done through the resident version of Allison bot maintained by Sky Diamond, a fellow Signaleer.

NOTE: Please be aware that by following the steps below, you are consenting for Allison to update your nickname on our Discord server to your in-game Signal Cartel character name.  No other changes will be made to your Discord account or to your identities on other Discord servers.

Here are the authentication steps:

Step 1

• To start the Discord authentication process, please type /authenticate in any available Discord channel on our server as shown below and then select the corresponding bot command that pops up. Press enter.

Step 2

• Allison bot will respond and provide a hyperlink as shown below. Click the link (https://signalcartel.space/mma/application/index.php) and login with your Signal Cartel character via the EVE Single Sign On (SSO).

Step 3

• Our authorization server will now ask you to connect your Discord account using a token. Click the "Copy" button on the webpage to copy your one-use token to the clipboard.

Step 4

• Go back to Discord and type /authenticate again in any available Discord channel on our server as shown below and then select the corresponding bot command that pops up. Press enter.

Step 5

• Next, select the token option as shown below and paste (ctrl-v) your copied token into the field. Press enter.
  • Note that tokens are valid for only 30 minutes from the time they are generated. If needed, refresh the https://signalcartel.space/mma/application/index.php page for a new token.

NOTE: Your secure token allows you to authenticate your identity on our Discord server.  Make sure you only use it with the /authenticate token command.

Step 6

• Allison will process your authentication request and send you a confirmation message.

Congrats, you're now an authenticated member of Signal Cartel on our Discord server!! This means you have been granted the Signaleer role and are able to access our members-only text and voice Discord channels.
