The Search and Rescue Ship Replacement Program (SAR SRP) is an initiative to encourage participation in Search and Rescue operations in Signal Cartel. It is designed to provide a portion of the the replacement value of the ship, fit, and explorer loot lost while participating in Search and Rescue operations sanctioned by the EvE-Scout Rescue Division in Signal Cartel.
The SAR SRP is separate from the Signal Cartel Ship Replacement Program (Free fitted T1 exploration frigates).

When is a loss covered?[edit]
To be eligible for reimbursement, losses must meet all of the following criteria:
- Happened in a J-system for which a Search and Rescue request was currently opened, or it happened while scanning adjacent systems to the J-system
- Did not happen while sowing/tending caches as part of the EvE-Scout Rescue Cache program. The SAR SRP is specifically for ship losses while working Search and Rescue requests only.
- The loss was not a result of unrelated PVE or unsanctioned PVP in accordance with the Credo and corp policies.
- A loss has not already been claimed by the pilot for the particular rescue operation
- The killmail must be sent to Angel Lafisques in-game (or Angel’s designee) for validation
- The loss was incurred by an active member in good standing in Signal Cartel/EvE-Scout Enclave, and not by an out-of-corp alt
- The ship lost was outfitted for Anoikis rescue
What exactly is covered?[edit]
- The replacement value of the ship, fit, and explorer loot you were carrying, excluding ESRC supplies, at Jita sell prices up to the maximum allowed (see below)
- A maximum of 100 million ISK (or a hull as provided by Mor Dovorot’s Exploded Explorer SRP, plus the value of the fit and explorer loot, up to the maximum)
- No more than one ship/fit per Signal Cartel pilot per rescue operation will be compensated
- No free fitted T1 Exploration fits can be claimed, as they can be replaced by the appropriate station Quartermaster in Gelhan, Saisio, Thera, Turnur, or Zoohen (explorer loot lost in a free fitted T1 Exploration fit will be covered)
- Implants/pods will not be covered
- Any items you are able to salvage from your wreck will not be covered
How do I apply for a replacement under the SAR SRP?[edit]
Send an EVEmail containing your killmail to Angel Lafisques in-game, with the following information:
- Date kill occurred
- System where the kill took place
- Rescue operation in which you were assisting
- Circumstances in which you were killed (just a sentence or two is necessary. If follow up is required, you will be contacted.)
