Policy

Fleet Operations Division (FOD) has instituted the following policy regarding voice communications during its various events:

• Every Signaleer will be required to have a functioning microphone and to submit themselves to a voice check before undock. Failure to comply will prevent you from participating.
  • Note: Fleet Commanders (FCs) are at liberty to make voice communications optional for non-conventional fleets (e.g., Abyssal Deadspace, TripTik Expeditions)

Clarifications

• Some pilots use Discord on their phones along with earbuds and an integrated microphone and, while this is not ideal, it is an acceptable solution.

Rationale

• This decision stems from two main objectives the FOD would like to accomplish:
  • Improve player interactions during our fleets.
  • Reach an acceptable standard of OpSec.
