==Bookmarking Guide==
From a fleet member perspective, before undock, you will be able to grab the link to the 2 shared folders for the fleet when the FC links them in Fleet Chat. As a fleet member, this will allow you to view and use the bookmarks to warp to locations in the current system. If you do not use the link before undock you most probably won’t have access to any of the bookmarks. This will be part of the pre-flight checklist.

As before, if a bookmark is in a different system you won’t be able to warp to it. With the new bookmark system, you will not have permission to save bookmarks to these folders except under special conditions as listed below. OPSEC is key and we are working hard at minimizing the holes in OPSEC that have existed in the past.

The 2 folders are:
* '''[FOD Fleet]''' - This is where the bookmarks for safes, wormholes and other navigational items will be kept for the current fleet. While in fleet you will have access to view and warp but not to save bookmarks.
** Scouts - Before the fleet launches the scouts will have been busy finding the right system for the fleet. They will have access to save bookmarks while they are scouting. This includes scanning down any other combat appropriate signals in the target system(s).
*** All bookmarks saved by the scouts will be saved using the “expires in 2 days” option.
*** All bookmarks will be deleted when the fleet docks after operations are complete and all fleet members are accounted for.
* '''[FOD MTUs]''' - This is where the fleet will be able to view, and warp to, bookmarks for MTUs.
** Pilots with MTUs - (this may change to a designated pilot) - All pilots who have MTUs will be given save access to this folder. When a pilot drops an MTU at a site it is their responsibility to save the bookmark to this folder.
*** All bookmarks saved by the pilots will be saved using the “expires in 3 hours” option.
*** All bookmarks will be deleted when the fleet docks after operations are complete and all fleet members are accounted for.

The last note: ''You can only have 3 shared folders “online” at a time''. During pre-flight, please offline all shared folders except for the Signal Cartel folder. This will allow you to have the 2 Fleet folders online for the duration of the fleet. Once the fleet is over, feel free to offline the 2 folders. That about wraps up the fleet usage of bookmarks under the new bookmark system.
