Our fittings guys and gals have devoted a substantial amount of time developing these doctrines. These guys and gals know way more about how ships work than you or we ever will. The FOD team trusts them with our lives, and you should too. Don't second-guess them, and don't ask to bring something that is not part of the doctrine. If you don't see a picture of the ship you want to bring shown under the doctrine the fleet is running, you cannot bring it. It is either underpowered / undertanked / not compatible with Logi / unable to keep up with the fleet / too big to fit through the hole / etc. If you are scouting and the fleet op announcement says cloaky frig, you cannot bring a Stratios. You cannot salvage in a Heron. Don't ask - the answer will be no.
