{{Template:FOD|expanded=Rules}} The purpose of this protocol is threefold: # To make the job of salvaging easier # To assist pilots in quickly retrieving their MTUs during fleet operations # To assist FC in keeping track of loot collected during the operation and traded/contracted after the fleet. Prior to undock, FC makes a list of all pilots with MTUs, and how many MTUs each pilot has; When fleet warping in to combat anomaly, FC calls out (by pilot name) who will drop MTU; As the second wave of Sleepers is being triggered, assigned pilot drops MTU: Launch MTU "For Self"; Pilot creates bookmark for MTU in FOD Bookmarks folder - the bookmark should be prefixed with 'MTU' followed by pilot's drop number, followed by pilot's name. For example, if Thrice Hapus is asked to drop MTUs two different times during the op, his bookmarks for his first and second drops will be "1 MTU Thrice" and "2 MTU Thrice"; Salvager notifies pilot when his/her MTU is clear; When fleet is at safespot, pilot warps to his/her MTU, scoops it, takes loot into cargo; Pilot rejoins fleet at safespot; At end of fleet, pilot docks in station and trades/contracts loot to FC (or FC's designee). On behalf of our salvagers and FCs, we thank you in advance for your cooperation. ==== Reference ==== Original forum post: [https://forums.eve-scout.com/topic/6963/fod-mtu-protocol FOD MTU Protocol] {{:FodPageFooter}}
