NOTE: This is a WIP
Announcing a fleet? First of all, thank you! Please follow these recommendations.
Use Our Fleet Announcement Template
- Create a new post in the Fleets and Events section of our forums.
- Copy the raw Markdown text in the gray box below and edit to suit. The text inside the square brackets should all be replaced. Be careful about the two-space breaks at the end of lines.
- Use <https://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/> to get a time converter link to paste in. Use "UTC" for the "location" there, along with the UTC date and time. If the fleet day is different in UTC than in US timezone because wrap, point it out in the announcement to avoid confusion. The EVE Year can be obtained by adding 102 to the last three digits of the out-of-game year: 2017 is YC119, for example.

Time Zone Converter
Hello there, all current and future FCs are invited to use [this](https://www.thetimezoneconverter.com/) time converter when setting up a fleet since the one we used to use has been long discontinued and most of those I have seen around the internet are way too convoluted for what they do.
