== First Week: Meet Allison ==
Lastly, by the end of the first week, new members must meet Allison, our official Signal Cartel Co-Pilot. She is implemented as a web application that works in the background and does not interfere with the EVE game client. Her presence is essential for our EvE-Scout Rescue (ESR) Division, which consists of two programs:
* EvE-Scout Rescue Cache (ESRC) - You'll learn more about this program on the next page of the Orientation Guide.
* Search and Rescue (SAR)

Even if Signaleers do not want to actively participate in ESR, they can still assist with our SAR efforts of stranded capsuleers by flying through Wormhole Space with Allison enabled.  With Allison enabled, you will help us locate lost pilots just by having Allison passively running in the background. For new pilots, this may be the easiest and the quickest way to become a contributing member of the corporation, while also having an opportunity to earn ISK if you locate a lost pilot! Please note that although getting acquainted with Allison is a mandatory part of Signal Cartel's New Member Orientation, pilots are free to deactivate Allison afterward.
