Signal Cartel Redistribution of Unwanted Blueprint Service (SCRUBS)

A blueprint buyback service created and managed by: Xavec

The Crux of It

  • The price offered will be calculated using the Fuzzwork blueprint appraisal tool
  • The bottom line of this calculator will be used - Profit (Sell - Material - Install).
  • You will be offered 50% of this price which means the profit in the BPC will be split between you (as the BPC finder) and Xavec (the manufacturer/hauler/seller).

Terms and Conditions

  • Any blueprints for which the Profit is zero or negative will be bought for a flat (low) rate which is based on the value of the outcome product.
  • Any Blueprint originals will be bought for 90% of the Jita price in line with the loot buyback service. The price offered will be a flat rate based on an unresearched BPO.
  • Some items have very inflated sell prices pushing up the profit of the blueprints on fuzzwork (see FAQs below)
  • Any BPCs for T1 explo frigates or the fittings for starter fits will be donated to Signal Cartel.
  • Any BPCs for ships used by FOD such as Brutixes or Punishers will likewise be offered free of charge to them.
  • If you run any Signal Cartel division and there are ships you'd find handy please message Xavec about ship donation.
  • The price is open to negotiation, however for most BPCs the offer will not exceed 50%.
  • For very high profit BPCs (eg Marshal, High-grade ascendancy omega) a higher offer will be made automatically, more than 50%.
  • A manufacturing service is offered. You supply the BPC and receive the finished product. The price will be quoted to you on a case-by-case basis and will be based on the material cost.
  • If there are any BPCs you would like, please message Xavec - he currently has a collection of over 15,000 BPCs which he will never ever use.

How Do I Take Advantage?

  • To take advantage please send Cevax Aubaris a contract with the blueprints in with a zero isk price. You will receive a reply with a proposed price.
    • Do not send evepraisal links, use contracts.
  • If you accept the proposal the zero price contract will be accepted and you will receive the ISK as a transfer. If you prefer you can make a new contract with the agreed price in the contract.
  • Contracts should be issued to Cevax Aubaris. Preferably at Zoohen, but contracts from any of the Signal Cartel stations (including AD) or Jita will be accepted.
  • Any questions can be posted to Xavec either in the BPC trading channel of the CLL discord, the Corp Discord, Personal Discord message or by messaging Xavec in-game.
  • Please see the Contracts page for further instructions.

FAQs

Q: Why only 50%?
A: Firstly I sell to buy prices to keep my cashflow up which means I make much less than you. Secondly the time and effort required (getting materials, hauling them, production, hauling and selling the product) is high and costly.
Q: Why have you offered me more than 50% according to Fuzzwork?
A: Some BPCs that have very high profits will automatically attract a much higher price paid to you.
Q: Why have you offered me less than 50% according to Fuzzwork?
A: Most of the time this is because the items have a high sell price but a very, very, low buy price making them harder to sell. Usually the buy/sell volume of these items is very very low. This indicates that the sell prices are wildly overly inflated. Rigs and storyline items are good examples of these.
Q: But this BPC is for sale in contracts for X millions!
A: Just because it is for sale at that price doesn't mean they actually sell for that price. I do not buy blueprints at the contract price because the true value is based on the profit margin. There may be exceptions to this I don't know about so please feel free to ask. I promise I don't bite.

Q: How much will you buy Zeugma or Ligature BPCs for?
A: 250,000 and 100,000 ISK respectively.
Q: Can I just get whatever price you offer straight away?
A: Yes! Just write "Auto-accept" in the contract comments! Note: this price cannot be renegotiated unless an error is made by Xavec.
Q: How do I donate BPCs?
A: Just write "donation" in the contract comments. Profit will be donated to the corp and may be eligable for formal recognition.
Q: I need a blueprint copy of an item. Can I have one?
A: Potentially, yes! Just tell me what you need and how many runs and I will see what I have. I may ask you to pay if I need to do some T2 invention but if I have a large number of the BPCs I will just give you them for free.
