What is a Thera and Turnur Scanning Bookmark Manager?

• Our most dedicated Scouts care for the bookmarks in our public EVE-Scout \\ Thera folder. They check new bookmarks, move them from the internal folder to the public one, and delete expired ones.
• They use the "Manage Bookmarks" pane in the Hub Scan Tool to compare current signatures with the public bookmarks folder.
• Please note that the public EVE-Scout \\ Thera folder is only editable by Bookmark Managers.

How to Become a Bookmark Manager?

Time and dedication can earn you membership in this group and the responsibility that comes with it.

Requirements

• C2 status
• 180 days in Signal Cartel
• Personally vetted by a Mapping Admin
• Please note that this role will be revoked after 2 months of scanning inactivity.
• If you are interested and qualify, please send an in-game EVEmail to Leadership (Katia Sae and Aldar Roanaok).

Workflow

1. Check and move valid signatures from the internal Signal Cartel \\ Thera folder to the public EVE-Scout \\ Thera folder
   1. The extent of checking required is up to Bookmark Manager's discretion
   2. Checking hub-side bookmarks are correctly placed is generally recommended, especially when made by Scouts with less experience
2. Delete expired bookmarks
3. Watch out for discrepancies, incorrectly placed/named bookmarks, or other issues. Depending on the issue, as appropriate: correct it, gently remind the person responsible of the correct process, raise it in our #mapping-lounge Discord channel, and/or let a Mapping Admin know.
