"Missions"

Here are my "missions" for each of the (applicable) services and organisations inside of SC.

EvE-Scout Rescue (ESR)

  1. Tender 10 caches
  2. Sow 3 caches (if possible)

Thera and Turnur Scanning (TS)

  1. Learn to find and enter Thera
  2. Learn to find and enter Turner
  3. Use Thera to shortcut Ahbazon
  4. Use Turnur to shortcut Ahbazon

Entering a System

The the moment I "pop" a wormhole (WH), I do the following:

  1. Bookmark the wormhole I came through as "< Wormhole" (see below)
  2. Find a planet or moon as many AU away as I can get
  3. I warp to the moon or planet, but I get no closer than 50km, BUT...
  4. I also activate my cloak after I initiate warp, AND I launch my probes
  5. I load up the system map and I move my probes off the system grid and then press "B" (so they warp and scan)
  6. I then load up the shared bookmarks and find the cache
  7. I warp to the cache 20-30km away
  8. If it's safe, I tend or sow it
  9. I then fly away again, to a moon/planet, and bounce around to make a safe spot
    1. I bookmark the safe spot "! SAFE SPOT 001"
  10. I now reload the system map and move my probes as needed, scanning down WHs and sites

Bookmarks

When entering a system, I begin scanning for stuff... obviously. When I find it, I bookmark it like everyone, but I have a few ideas around _how_ I bookmark the things I find:

  • "< Wormhole": the wormhole I came through to get to this system, so `<` basically meaning "the way back"
  • "> ": the wormhole I went through when leaving the system. I use this for when/if I come back, so I know where I just was... yeah...
  • "? ": a wormhole with an unknown destination or some other "thing" I don't know about
  • "! ": a safe spot. The use of "!" moves the item to the top of the list
  • "- ": a site I cannot tank/DPS because the NPCs are too tough (C4+ sites)
  • "+ ": a site I can take on (hack), and I will eventually
  • "$ ": a successfully farmed site
