Policy:Selling Access to Wormholes
Policies |
---|
Signal Cartel is a service corporation, and we enjoy assisting others as they make their way through New Eden and Anoikis. One service we do not provide, however, is selling access to a wormhole (J-space) system.
Because J-space systems do not have a sovereignty mechanic as null-sec in K-space does, there is no way to verify that a given system is empty. And now that Anoikis has been present in the game for a few years, every desirable J-space system can be assumed to have residents. There are often skirmishes for control of the most useful of these systems.
Given these facts, aiding any pilot with access into a given wormhole system has a significant chance to be viewed as a breach of our neutral stance. Doing so for pay would only further exacerbate the possible perception of favoritism.
Thus, Signal Cartel and its pilots do not and will not sell access to wormholes under any circumstances. Only in rare cases (certain capital SAR scenarios, for example) will Signaleers provide information about a certain wormhole to out-of-corp pilots. In such scenarios, this information is never given in exchange for any form of payment and it is only done with prior written approval from Leadership.
