Leadership investigates whenever a possible Credo violation is reported. In order to set expectations, here are a few helpful notes:

Privacy and Confidentially

All investigations are conducted quietly, for a few important reasons: to avoid naming and shaming, to curate our culture in accordance with our vision, to conduct investigations unencumbered by uninformed discussions, and to keep our procedures confidential. Thus, we do not generally discuss such investigations or what brought us to our decisions.

While an investigation is in progress

• Related forum threads are locked.
• In-game roles for anyone under investigation are temporarily removed.
• Posting about an ongoing investigation will get you forum-banned or Discord-banned until the investigation concludes.

If you are the subject of an investigation

• Admit what happened plainly, right or wrong. Leadership wants to work with you; we can do that best if you own your part in whatever occurred.
• Be respectful in your communications.
• Don’t discuss the investigation publicly.
